KINGS CHILDREN

The bible tells us that we have been chosen by God to be his children. John 15:16 says "You did not choose Me, but I chose you." What a high and holy privilege! We were chosen to be God's children.

David had a desire to build God a house, but it did not happen, instead his son Solomon build God an house. But today God does not desire that we build houses for him, but he has chosen a better way, by living within us, by His Holy Spirit. This is much better than to be separated by time or distance, to live in us means that he is always with us, and we can feel his presence from day to day.

"Beloved, now we are children of God".(I John 3:2) What a wonderful calling! We are the children of the King of Kings because of what Jesus did for us on calvary, and because we accepted the gift of eternal life, we today are called His children.

But being children of a royal family, you have little or no privacy, you are watched very closely. Someone said that the only bible that some people may read is our lives, so if that is so, than we as children of the King of Kings should take care on how we live. Paul said in Romans 5:17, that we are to reign on this earth in righteousness for His glory. Children of a Royal family will stand out, we will be notice, so it is very important to live as royal children should live.

We are to reign for him in righteousness, for some day we will reign with him, upon His throne, but while we wait for that great event, we reign now in righteousness for his glory.

How are we living today? How are you living today? Does our lives reflect the character of royalty, a Holy God, it should if you are His child.

Are you His child, you can be today, just say "LORD JESUS COME INTO MY HEART, FORGIVE ME OF MY SINS, WASH ME IN YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD, I ACCEPT WHAT YOU DID ON CALVARY FOR ME" if you prayed that prayer, I encourage you to find a good bible believing church where you can be feed from His Holy Word, so you can live as a child of the King.
