I Will
"Fear thou not for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God, I will strengthen thee, I will help thee, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteiousness." Isaiah 41:10
Here in this verse we have the promises of God to his people, that they need not to fear, that he will strengthen, help and uphold us in His right hand of righteousness. Here is a verse that we all need to come back to from time to time to be reminded of what God has said.
When we think about the One we serve, the One that we worship, the One that we put our trust in, we need not to fear. The only time that we need to fear is when we have drained God of all his power and strength, when there is nothing lift to draw from, but we know that will never happen, God cannot be drained of his power and strength, he never changes, therefore his power and strength is everlasting.
Man’s strength will never be able to overcome the power of God. He cannot be over - powered, he cannot be held ransom, He cannot be diminished of his power, for he is God.
The same God who directs the earth in its orbit, and hung the world on nothing, who fuels the sun so that it burns strong, and the stars to shine forth, surely saints he can give us the strength that we need.
One that spoke with words of power and it was done, one that commanded and it stood still, one that parted the Red Sea and brought water from a rock, who pulled down the walls of Jericho, and protected the three Hebrew children from the fire, Daniel from the lions, is he not able to help us in our need. One that uses the clouds as a means of transportation, the earth has his footstool, who holds the oceans in the hallow of his hand. How can he fail us?
He has given us a faithful promise here in this verse, why should we be afraid, for we are in capable hands, the hands of God, under his care and protection.
