Acts 4:13

Here in this verse, we have a tremendous witness about Peter & John, the people looked at them and said "they have been with Christ, for they are like Him." You see, to be with Christ is to be like Him, to act like Him, and talk like Him, you cannot spend time in God’s presence without some of Him rubbing off on us.

If we were what we confess to be, and what we should be, than we should be living pictures of our Saviour Jesus Christ. In other words, we should be what Jesus is, so that the world will have no question or doubt that we are His, that we have been with Jesus, just like the people saw in Peter and John.

We must be bold like Jesus was in regard to our profession of faith, we must hold the same spirit of kindness, the same spirit of love.

Spurgeon, said that we should, "think kindly, speak kindly, and do kindly," so that people may know that we have been with Christ.

Jesus biography should be written on us, so that the world will see that we are a holy person, a person who is set apart for God’s glory, one that his goal is to please the Lord and to do His will.

Yes we should be the striking resemblance of Christ, so the people will say, he or she has been with Christ, because spending time with Him, you cannot walk away being like your old self.

Lets make it our goal, our aim in this life to live for Him so that we can be a striking likeness of Him.

Will you do that today, if you just call upon His name, if you will ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and with His help you can start today to be the person you were created for.
